About Sitare Punjabi Dhaba Complex – Tourism in Kurukshetra
If you drive down the Kurukshetra-Karnal highway, you will find us at the 7th milestone. We’ve been here at Sitare Punjabi Dhaba Complex for a good while now. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially with all the trucks and families moving between cities. The place isn't anything fancy, just a solid spot to pull over when you're tired of driving. We have plenty of space for parking, which is why the long-haul drivers like stopping here. Inside, the fans are usually humming and there’s always the smell of tadka in the air. We start early in the morning, getting the tea ready for the first batch of travelers. Sometimes the highway gets really dusty, and we’re constantly wiping down the tables, but that’s just how it is out here. People come in, eat their fill, and then head back out to finish their journey. We see a lot of faces, most of them just passing through once, but some regulars stop every time they have a delivery in Karnal. It’s a simple setup with basic wooden chairs and heavy plates. We don't spend much time on decorations because the food is what matters to the people who walk through our doors. The kitchen is always loud with the sound of clanging pots. It’s hard work keeping up with the rush hours, but we managed to make a decent name for ourselves on this 20-milestone stretch near Samaha Bahu.
