Kujran Valyan Da Punjabi Dhaba

Our dhaba is right here at Shop No-3 in Kurukshetra. It’s a small place, nothing fancy, but we stay busy. Being so close to Dukh Bhanjan Mandir means we see a lot of people coming from the temple looking for a quick meal. My family has been around this area for a while and we thought a Punjabi dhaba would be good for the locals. We start early in the morning to get things ready. The kitchen gets quite warm but that is just how it is. We make things like dal and roti, just simple stuff that fills you up. Sometimes the crowds from the temple are big, especially on weekends, and we have to move fast. It is just me and a couple of guys working the counters and the stove. We don't have a big menu or anything, just what we know how to cook well. The address is 136118 and if you find the temple, you basically found us. We use the same spices you find in any Punjabi kitchen. It is loud here sometimes because of the traffic and people chatting, but we like the noise. It feels like home. We don't do much advertising, mostly people just walk in because they smell the food or they've been here before. It's a decent spot for a hot meal without any fuss. We just keep our heads down and keep the stove going for whoever stops by. We aren't trying to be the most popular place, just a reliable one.
