India Stone Exports

We've been out here on Belum Caves Road for a while now. It's a quiet spot in Ramapuram, but we stay busy enough with the stone work. Mostly, people know us because we’re right on the way to the caves. Dealing with various types of stone is common in this part of Kurnool. The yard usually has plenty of slabs piled up, and there is always some dust in the air. That is just how it goes when you work with these materials every day. Owk Mandal is where we call home. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a place where the work gets done. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, which makes moving the heavy blocks a bit of a chore, but we manage. My family has been around this area for a long time, so we know the roads and the local quarries pretty well. If you are driving down towards the caves, you will see our sign. It isn't anything special, just a way for people to find the gate. Most mornings are spent checking the inventory and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. There is always a lot to keep track of with the export side of things. It keeps us on our toes. The guys working here are all from nearby villages. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the stone is handled right before it leaves the yard. We aren't a big corporation, just a local crew doing our job.
