Hindustan Tiles

Our place is in Nandyal, specifically at the Padmavathi Nagar Entrance in the Tekke area. We are right beside the Mahindra Tractor Showroom, which is probably the easiest way to find us if you’re driving along that road. It’s a big open space because tiles take up a lot of room. We have stacks of them piled up according to their size and patterns. Being near the entrance of Padmavathi Nagar means we see a lot of people coming and going throughout the day. The sound of tractors from next door is pretty constant, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the yard and a small covered area where we sit and talk to customers. Dealing with tiles is heavy work, and our days are filled with loading tiles into rickshaws or small trucks. We try to keep things tidy, but with so many boxes, there’s always a bit of cardboard and plastic wrap lying around. Nandyal is a growing place, so there’s always someone building something new nearby. We just focus on keeping our stock levels up so we don't run out when someone needs a specific color. It’s a straightforward life here. We open up early, sweep the front, and start moving the stock. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it at this location for a good length of time now. We usually close up the gates once it gets dark.
