Krishna Stones

We are located at 213 on the Kurnool Road, right in the heart of Betamcherla. This area is famous for stone, and we are just one of the many shops along this stretch. Our place is full of raw stone and finished pieces waiting to be moved. You can see the stacks from the road as you drive toward Kurnool. It’s a noisy place because there is always some cutting or polishing happening nearby. The white dust covers everything, including our clothes and the old desk in the front. We’ve been here for years, watching the traffic go by on the main road. It gets very busy in the mornings when the workers arrive and the tractors start lining up for pickups. We don’t have a big showroom, just the yard and a small space to sit. Most of our days are spent talking to drivers and checking the quality of the slabs coming in from the local quarries. Sometimes the power goes out and everything goes quiet for a bit, which is a nice break from the machines. We just handle the stone as it comes. It's tough on the hands and the back, but that is the life in Betamcherla. People stop by all the time asking for prices or just looking at what we have in the current batch. We just tell them what is available and let them decide. It's nothing too complicated, just a lot of heavy lifting and some cutting.
