Our setup is located in Orvakal, which is a village and mandal area that feels quite far removed from the big city rush. Sesha Sai Quartzite Pvt. Ltd. is right in the middle of it. The landscape around here is mostly rocks and open ground, which makes sense for what we do with quartzite. It’s a quiet place most of the time, except when the machinery is running. We spend most of our hours outdoors or in the shed. The air is dry and the sun is usually beating down on us, so we drink a lot of water and stay in the shade when we can. Working with stone is heavy work, but we’ve got a small crew that knows the routine. We don't have a big corporate building or anything. It's just a functional site where the work gets done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait it out, which is just how things are in this part of the country. We know the local people well since many of us live nearby. It's a slow-paced life until a big order comes in and then everyone is busy for days. We don't really worry about making things look polished for visitors because we don't get many out here. It's just us, the quartzite, and the Orvakal dust day in and day out. We hope to keep doing this for a long time.
