Dornipadu Mandal Farmers Producer is based right in the middle of Dornipadu Village. Our main spot is H.No.3-73 on Ramalayam Street. It is a busy little area, especially since the temple is close by. We are a group of farmers from around the Allagadda Taluka who decided to work together. Being in Kurnool, we deal with a lot of heat and the water situation is always something we are talking about. The office is really just a room where we keep our registers and meet up to discuss seed prices or the harvest. It gets pretty cramped when more than five of us show up at the same time. There are always some muddy boots by the door because most of us come straight from the fields. We started this because doing everything alone was getting too hard for everyone. Now we try to manage the crops as a group. It is not always smooth sailing and we have plenty of arguments about which crops to plant next season. But at the end of the day, we are all neighbors. The address on Ramalayam Street is where you can usually find someone if they aren't out checking on the land. We don't have a big staff, just the farmers themselves helping out with the paperwork when they have a spare hour. It is a practical setup for people who spend their lives in the dirt.
