We are just a group of farmers working together here at 4/165, S.C Colony in Chippagiri. It's in the Kurnool district area. We named the group Chippagiri Bhoomiputhra Farmers Producer Company Limited because we wanted to have something official for the work we do. Most of us have been around here for a long time, working the land and trying to figure out how to manage things better as a group instead of just by ourselves. Dealing with crops and markets is hard work, so having this office in the colony helps us stay organized. We mostly talk about the daily stuff like seeds, rain, and what’s happening in the fields around Chippagiri. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just some people who know the local soil and wanted to pool our resources together. Sometimes we meet up to discuss how to get better prices or just to share advice on what’s growing well this season. Life in Kurnool district moves at its own pace and we just try to keep up with it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just the folks you see working every day. We’ve been at this for a while now and decided to stick with this location because everyone knows where it is. It's just about farmers helping each other out without making things too complicated for anyone involved in the day to day operations here.
