You can find us over at Dharam Singh’s place on Pangan Road. We are in Patlikuhal, which is a busy little area. Kullu Manali Farmer Producer Company Limited is all about the farmers here in the Kullu and Manali region. We aren’t a big corporation; we are just a bunch of people working together. The office is really just a room with some chairs and a lot of talk about fruit and vegetables. Patlikuhal has that cool mountain air that keeps us going even when we are tired. We spend a lot of time out on the road visiting different plots. Dharam Singh handles a lot of the day-to-day stuff. We have bags of supplies stacked up near the entrance. Sometimes the trucks get stuck on the narrow roads, which can be a real headache. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just a phone that rings a lot. People come by to ask about prices or to drop off crates. It’s a group effort here. We don’t do any fancy advertising. We just work with what we have in the valley. The view of the mountains is the only thing that’s really impressive around here. The rest of it is just hard work and dirty boots. We stay busy through the seasons. It’s just how life is in Pangan. It keeps us moving.
