Down on Dbn Road in Hassanpura, you’ll find us at Hassanpur Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. We’re a group of farmers who decided to work together. It makes more sense that way. Instead of everyone doing their own thing separately, we pool our resources. Our place is right on the main road, so it’s easy for the tractors to pull in. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic sometimes, but we’re used to it. We deal with all sorts of agro products. Whatever the season brings in, that’s what we’re working on. We don't have any fancy suits or big boardrooms. We meet in the shed or out in the yard most of the time. It’s more honest that way. We talk about the crops, the prices, and what needs to be done next. Everyone has a say because it's a producer company. It’s not always easy to get everyone to agree, but we manage to figure it out. We’ve got a lot of local pride in what we do. Hassanpura is a good place for this kind of work. The soil is decent and the people are hardworking. We don't need a lot of fluff to tell our story. We’re just farmers trying to get a fair shake and keep our families going. Dbn Road is where we spend our days, and we wouldn't have it any other way. It is just plain and simple agricultural work.
