Inner Snower Valley Kisan Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Village Sharan, which is near Panarsa in the Aut tehsil. We operate out of Roshan Lal Thakur’s place. It’s not a fancy office building by any means. It’s just a house in a rural village, which is exactly where a kisan producer company should be. We call ourselves Inner Snower Valley Kisan Producer Company Limited. Most of us are local farmers who grew up in these mountains. We don't have any corporate training or polished ways of speaking. We just sit together and talk about how to get a better price for our crops. We use the post office in Panarsa for all our mail and official stuff. Life in Sharan is quiet and depends a lot on the seasons. We don't have a big website or any advertisements. People around the valley know who we are. We spend our time in the fields or meeting with other farmers to organize the harvest. It is a very simple and direct way of working. Sometimes we meet in the evenings after everyone is done with their work. There are no fancy titles here. We are just neighbors trying to help each other out in the farming business. It’s hard work, especially when the weather doesn't go our way, but we keep at it. We focus on the valley and the people who live here. That’s what matters most to us.
