Raj Hollow Blocks

If you're driving on the Bengluru Highway and turn onto Vepannapalli Road, you’ll find us easily in Sundarpalli. Raj Hollow Blocks sits right where the action is, so it's always a bit noisy with the trucks and cars zooming by. We’ve got a good-sized yard here to keep all our finished blocks. The work is pretty straightforward but it keeps us on our toes every day. We spend the mornings getting the machines ready and the afternoons are for moving the dried blocks into tall stacks. The dust from the highway mixes with the dust from our cement, so it's a pretty gritty place to work, but we don't mind it. We’ve been around Sundarpalli for a while and most of the local builders know where to find us. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. The stacks of blocks are usually enough for people to see what we do. It’s a lot of back-breaking work, especially when the weather is humid, but we just keep at it. We try to keep the yard organized so the trucks can pull in and out without getting stuck. Sometimes the highway traffic makes it hard to turn out, but that’s just life on a main road. We’re just regular folks making blocks for the local construction needs, trying to get through the day's tasks before the sun sets over the highway. It is a simple life of making blocks and loading them up for the next building project nearby.
