Kpk Bricks

Started the business here at 48/75 Jagir because the area needed it. It’s a bit dusty down in Venkatapuram, especially in the afternoons when the wind picks up near Basha Nagar. We spend most of the day just making sure the bricks are stacked right and ready for whoever comes by. It isn't fancy work. You wake up, check the clay, and see what needs doing. Sometimes the trucks show up early and we have to scramble a bit to get everything loaded. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the summer. My shirt is usually soaked by noon. People around here know where we are because of the tall stacks of red blocks. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a small desk and some chairs where we sit when the rain starts. It’s just how things go in this part of town. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise when the machines are running, but most of them are used to it by now. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can without making too much of a mess. It’s hard to keep a place clean when you're working with dirt all day. If you walk past Basha Nagar, you’ll probably see us out there. We’ve been at this for a while now and the routine stays pretty much the same every day. Most of the guys here have been working together for years.
