K.S.A Hollow Blocks

Down at No : 1/427 in Sathiya Sai Nagar, you’ll find our little operation, K.S.A Hollow Blocks. We are based in the Kadiyanpali area, which is a nice enough place to work. We specialize in those grey hollow blocks you see in most construction sites around here. It’s a straightforward process, but it takes a bit of a knack to get the mix right so they don't crumble when they dry. We spend our mornings mixing cement and sand, then filling the molds. It’s repetitive work, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that I actually enjoy. The yard isn't huge, so we have to be careful about how we move the finished blocks around so they have room to cure properly. I’ve lived in this part of Kadiyanpali for most of my life, so setting up the business here felt like the right move for my family. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics that get the job done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for a few hours, which is frustrating, but we usually find something else to clean or fix while we wait. It’s just a few of us working here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the blocks we put out are solid. Most of our customers are just local folks building a wall or a small extension on their homes.
