We are located in Vadavathoor, and most people around here know exactly where we are without needing a map. The school has been part of the landscape for quite some time. It’s not just a building; it’s where a lot of our daily life happens. You’ll hear the kids playing during their breaks from quite a distance away. We have classrooms that have seen many years of students passing through. The walls might need a bit of paint here and there, but they hold a lot of history. We spend our mornings getting everything ready before the first bus arrives. It’s a lot of small tasks, like checking the notices or making sure the drinking water is filled up. The staff room is usually a bit of a mess with books and half-finished tea, which is how we like it because it shows we’re working. Vadavathoor is a nice place to be, and we feel lucky to have a spot here away from the heaviest traffic. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place for the local kids to come and get their schooling done. Sometimes there’s a bit of trouble with the electricity or a leaky pipe, but we just fix it and move on. It’s a practical, everyday kind of place where the focus is just on the students and their daily lessons.
