Vishwa Seeds

Our seed shop is in Gumanpura, right in the Agrasen Bazar area. It’s a very traditional market setting. We have bags of seeds stacked up and the smell of earth and grain is always in the air. Farmers and gardeners come in to talk about what they are planning to plant for the next season. I spend a lot of time explaining which seeds work better in different soil or weather. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know to find us in the bazaar. It’s a busy place with a lot of shouting and carts moving around outside. The shop is quite small, so we have to use all the space up to the ceiling. I have some old ledgers where I keep track of what is coming in and going out. Agrasen Bazar has its own rhythm, and we have been part of it for a long time. Sometimes the weather affects how many people come in, especially if it's the planting season or if the rains are late. We deal with many different types of seeds, mostly for local crops. It is practical work and can be quite dusty, but it is satisfying to know that what we sell ends up growing in someone’s field. I usually sit on a stool near the front so I can see everyone coming in. It’s not a polished store, just a place for people who work the land and need honest supplies for their livelihood.
