Kidzee

This little place is tucked away at 84-87 in Kota City. Most people in the neighborhood know us just by the sound of kids playing in the morning. It is a preschool, so things get pretty loud and messy sometimes. We have toys scattered around and drawings taped to the walls. It is not a stiff or formal environment because that would not make sense for three-year-olds. We spend most of our day just making sure everyone is safe and has something to do. Kota is a busy city, especially with all the students and traffic, but inside these walls, it is a bit different. We try to keep things simple. The rooms are bright enough and we have enough space for the little ones to run around a bit before their parents come back to pick them up in the afternoon. People often drop their kids off on their way to work. It is a routine we have had for a long time now. We do not use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just look after the children while they are here. Sometimes we have to fix a broken chair or repaint a wall because things get worn out. That is life with kids. It is a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure the day goes smoothly. We have been at this address in Rajasthan for a good while and the neighbors are used to us by now.
