Shemrock Milestones is our little place in Baran. We’ve been here for some time now, and it’s become a familiar spot for the people living in this area. It’s a school for the younger ones, so it’s usually pretty lively from Monday to Friday. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few people who handle the teaching and the cleaning and everything else that needs doing. The building is just a regular house that we’ve converted to fit the kids. It’s got a small yard where they can run around a bit during their break time. Baran is a nice place, not too big, so we know most of the parents who come through our doors. We don’t use any of those big corporate slogans or anything. We just tell people what we do and let them decide. The rooms are filled with basic stuff like charts on the walls and small chairs for the children. Sometimes things get a little disorganized, especially when we are trying to plan a small event or when the weather is bad and everyone has to stay inside. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a simple life running a school like this. We don’t have fancy technology or high-end equipment, just the basics that the kids need to start learning their first lessons and getting along with others. That’s pretty much the whole story.
