Our little spot is at 2-Ch-30 in Dada Bari, over in Kota. It’s more of a place for the younger ones, so it’s usually full of a lot of energy and sometimes a bit of crying in the mornings. Being in a residential area like Dada Bari means we have neighbors all around us. We try to keep the noise down, but kids will be kids. The rooms are filled with small chairs and low tables that fit the little ones. We have some toys scattered around and some colorful drawings taped to the walls. It’s not a huge institution, just a local place where parents in the neighborhood can bring their children. Rajasthan can get incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and the kids stay cool inside. We don’t have a massive campus or a huge sports field, just enough space for them to run around a bit. The teachers here are patient because you have to be when you’re dealing with toddlers. Most of our day is spent on basic things like letters, numbers, and sharing. It feels more like a house than a big corporate office, which is how we like it. People around here in Kota know us by name. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure everyone gets home safely. It’s a simple, practical life here at the school.
