Golden Future Children Academy

This school is located right in the heart of Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan. We call it Golden Future Children Academy. It is a local place for the kids who live around the HO area. The building has a couple of floors, but we do not have an elevator, so everyone just takes the stairs. The walls have some old drawings and posters that the kids made a long time ago. We have a small staff room where we sit and have some chai when the classes are out. The classrooms have big windows to help with the heat, because Rajasthan gets very hot in the summer. Sometimes the wind blows the sand inside, so we have to wipe down the desks quite often. We teach the usual subjects like math, reading, and history. Most of the kids live just a few streets away, so we know their parents and families pretty well. It is a very local school. We do not have a big yellow bus. Most of the children just walk here or come on their bicycles. Our school bell is just a piece of heavy metal that we hit with a hammer to let everyone know the period is over. It is loud enough to hear from the street. We try to keep things organized, but with so many children, there is always a little bit of a mess. It is just a normal school.
