We've been over here in New Nakoda Colony for a while now. Baran is a quiet place and our little spot is right in the middle of it. Kidzee is basically where the local kids come during the day to stay busy while their parents are at work. We have rooms for them to play and some toys scattered around. It gets pretty loud in the mornings when everyone arrives. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know the families well. We don't do anything too fancy, just basic learning and making sure the toddlers are safe and fed. The building is easy to find if you’re coming from the main part of town. We spend a lot of time just showing the kids how to share and get along with each other. Sometimes we go outside when the weather isn't too hot, but mostly we stay inside where it’s cool. There’s a routine we follow every day, starting with some songs and then moving on to drawing or looking at books. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local place where we try to keep things organized. If you walk by in the afternoon, you can usually hear the kids singing or running around the yard. We’ve had a lot of siblings come through over the years, which is nice because we get to see the families grow up. It’s a simple operation, really. We just focus on the basics of getting children ready for the bigger schools later on.
