Hotel Sarovar Plaza

Our place, Hotel Sarovar Plaza, is at 130 Aerodrome Circle in the New Dhan Mandi area. Being near the circle means it’s a very noisy spot with all the traffic coming and going. Most people who stay with us are here for the markets or students who are in town for their exams. It’s a busy part of the city, and we are right in the middle of it. The building itself is pretty standard for this area. We have rooms that are kept clean, but they aren't meant for luxury. We just want people to have a bed and a working bathroom. We spend a lot of our day dealing with the laundry and making sure the water tanks are full. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when it’s hot outside. We don’t use any fancy booking systems; usually, people just show up or call us on the phone. We sit behind the wooden desk at the entrance and handle whatever comes up. If a bulb burns out, we change it ourselves. If the floor is dirty, we grab a mop. There’s no big management team here, just us trying to keep things running so we can pay the bills. It’s an honest way to make a living in New Dhan Mandi, and we’ve been doing it like this for years now. We know the shopkeepers around the circle and they know us.
