Hotel Maharaja Palace

We are located in Bazar No.1, which is very close to the railway station. Because we are so near the tracks, you can often hear the trains coming and going throughout the day and night. It’s a sound we have grown used to, but it reminds us of how many people are traveling through this area. The bazaar is always full of life, with sellers shouting and people looking for deals. We are just one of the buildings in this crowded street. We don't have a fancy entrance with a doorman. It’s more of a place where you walk in off the street and see us sitting at the desk. We keep things simple here. We don't have a big menu or a lot of extra stuff. It’s just rooms for people who need a place to stay after a long train ride. The station being so close means we see a lot of tired faces. We try to get them sorted out quickly so they can sleep. Sometimes the market gets so crowded you can barely walk, but that’s the charm of Bazar No.1. We have our regulars who come every month for business. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us because they see our sign when they walk out of the station. It’s a straightforward way to run a hotel, and it works for us and our guests who need a rest.
