Hotel Punjabi Barbeque

Kota is a city full of students and people working hard, and Indra Vihar is one of those neighborhoods where there is always something going on. Hotel Punjabi Barbeque is located at S-2/3 on Opera Road. We are very close to the Om Cineplex, so we get a lot of people who are out for a movie or just walking around the area. The smell of the charcoal and the grill is usually what brings people in. We have a simple setup here in Rajasthan. It’s not a fancy dining hall; it’s more of a place where you can just be yourself and eat. The heat from the barbeque can get intense, especially during the summer months when Kota is already boiling, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time prepping the meat and the vegetables and making sure the fire is just right. Indra Vihar has a specific energy because of all the coaching centers nearby, so we see a lot of young people looking for a good meal. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open the doors, start the grill, and wait for the customers to arrive. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. The street can be quite noisy with all the bikes, but once you’re inside, it feels a bit different. We just keep doing what we do every day.
