Hotel Saraswati Palace

Hotel Saraswati Palace is right in the heart of Nayapura, right at the Sojati Gate Chouraha. It’s a busy spot in Jodhpur, especially because we are right opposite Ummed Park. The park is a nice bit of green in the middle of all the traffic and shops. You can see people walking there every morning and evening. Our location is very convenient if you want to be near the markets, but it means there is always noise from the street. Horns, vendors, and people talking are part of the background here. The building itself is older, and it has that traditional feel you find in this part of Rajasthan. We don’t have fancy carpets or modern art, just sturdy furniture and rooms that keep the sun out. The sun gets really strong here, so we keep the curtains drawn during the day. Our staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a while. They know where to get the best chai or which bus goes where. We spend our days checking people in and out, and making sure the water tanks are full. It’s a lot of manual work. Sometimes the pipes get noisy, or a lightbulb needs changing, and we just handle it as it comes. It’s an honest place for travelers who want to be close to the old city and the park without spending a fortune. We’ve been here a long time now.
