Food Bank

Dadabari is where we are located. It has been a while since we first set up at 563. The day usually starts quite early around here. We handle a lot of food coming in and going out every single day. It is mostly about organizing the heavy crates and making sure things aren't sitting around on the floor too long. Some days are much quieter than others, but usually, there is a bit of a rush in the mornings. We have a small team here. Everyone knows what they have to do without being told. We do not really have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the open space we need to get the work done. People sometimes ask how we keep track of everything, and honestly, it is just a lot of lists and checking the labels twice. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the heavy traffic near the main road, which is a bit of a headache for us. We just deal with it as it comes. It isn't always easy, but we have got a good rhythm now. You learn which days are going to be busy just by looking at the calendar. We try to keep the place tidy, though with so many boxes coming in, it is a constant battle. The neighbors know us by now. We have been at this address for a good stretch of time. If you walk past Dadabari 563, you will probably see us unloading something.
