If you are walking down Sheela Chaudhary Main Road in Talwandi, you might miss us if you don't look up. We are situated right on the terrace of Leather House. It's a bit of a climb, but it’s nice being away from the dust of the Kota streets. Most of our crowd consists of students from the nearby coaching centers who just need a place to sit for a while and forget about their books. We started this because we liked the idea of a rooftop spot in this part of town. The building itself is called SFS-1-D-1, though nobody really calls it that. It’s just the place near the main road. The weather in Rajasthan can be a bit much, but in the evenings, the terrace gets a decent breeze. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything. It’s just a few of us making food and making sure the tables are wiped down. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, or we run out of a specific ingredient because the market was closed, but we manage. It’s a casual place where you can see the city lights while you eat. We didn't spend much on fancy decorations. We just put out some chairs and hoped people would like the view. It’s been a learning process for all of us since we opened, but we enjoy seeing the regulars come back day after day.
