The name sounds like we are just an internet thing, but we actually have a physical spot at E-3 Industrial Estate. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving slabs around with the crane. Most of our time is spent checking for cracks or making sure the edges are straight enough for whatever project someone is working on. The industrial estate can be a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here. We have some guys who have been with us for years and they know the stone better than anyone. It’s a messy business, lots of water and stone dust everywhere. We try to keep the website updated when we can, but honestly, the physical work takes up most of the day. Sometimes a customer calls and we have to go out and take a blurry photo with a phone to show them what we’ve got in stock. It’s just how it goes. The office is small and the fan makes a clicking sound that drives me crazy, but it works. We don’t have a marketing team or anything. It's just us and the stone. If someone needs a piece of granite or marble, they usually come down and walk through the aisles themselves. We’ve got stacks of slabs leaning against the walls. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy. We just focus on getting the slabs loaded and sent out.
