Technician

You can find my shop, Technician, over at the Saldhana Compound. It's on the 3rd Cross of Padmashree Hospital Road in Kulashekar Post, Nanthoor. Mangalore is a humid place, so things tend to rust or break down quite often. I spend a lot of my time fixing those issues for people living around here. It’s a quiet enough area, except when the hospital traffic gets heavy. I handle various technical repairs. I don't really have a team, it's just me mostly. I like the independence of running my own small business. I don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one so people know they are in the right place. Sometimes I'm out on a call, so the door might be shut, but I'm usually back soon. I’ve lived in Mangalore all my life and I know the streets pretty well. Most of my customers are regulars who have been coming to me for years. We usually chat about the weather or the local news while I look at their gear. It’s not a corporate office, just a workspace where I get things done. I like the smell of solder and old metal. It feels like real work. I keep a small fan going to deal with the Mangalore heat during the afternoons when the sun is hitting the roof.
