3 I Infotech is located within the Taluk Panchayat Office in Koppal, care of C. B. Chanagondi. Being inside a government building means things are always moving at a certain pace. You’ve got people coming in for all sorts of paperwork and official business. Our corner is mostly computers and printers. It’s often quite warm in the office during the summer months, but we have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving. We spend the day helping with data, technical issues, and whatever else comes up in the panchayat office. It’s not a high-tech lab like you’d see in the big cities. It’s more of a practical workspace where we solve everyday computer problems. The chairs are a bit old and the desks are wooden and heavy. We see a lot of people from the nearby villages coming in to get their work done. It feels good to be right in the middle of where the community gets its business handled. Koppal is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else. We don't have a big corporate logo on the wall or a fancy lobby. We just have our workstations and a lot of cables running across the floor. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just have to be patient. We do our best to keep things running smoothly for the office and the people who depend on it. It’s simple, necessary work that keeps us occupied from nine to five every weekday.
