Arafath

If you are looking for Arafath, you have to head out toward Mangalore Taluk. We are at Hosamane House, which is in Koppala, right near the Karnire Post. It’s a quiet area, much different from the middle of the city. You hear the birds and the wind in the trees more than you hear cars. The house itself is where everything happens. It’s a traditional setup, and we use a couple of the front rooms for our daily operations. It feels more like a home than a place of business, which is how we like it. We have our regulars who know exactly where to find us. The mail comes through the Karnire Post and the postman usually stops for a minute to chat because things move a bit slower out here. We don’t have big neon signs or a glass front. It’s just a gate and the name of the house. Inside, we have some basic furniture and a few ledgers where we keep track of things. The floors are stone and stay cool even when the sun is beating down on the roof. People from the nearby houses often drop in just to say hello or ask a quick question. It’s a simple way of working, without any of the rush you find in the bigger towns. We just take things one day at a time at Hosamane House. There isn't much to it, but it works for us and the people who come by.
