Zest Placement

Starting with the address at 16/2 Mahendra Banerjee Road, Zest Placement is a busy spot in Kolkata. We’ve been here for a while now. The office isn’t huge but it fits our desks and a few chairs for people who come in. Most days it’s just the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional tea delivery from the shop around the corner. We spend a lot of time looking through lists of names and calling folks to see if they are still looking for work. It gets a bit humid in the afternoons so we keep the fans going full speed. People stop by after seeing the sign outside. We don't have a big reception area or anything fancy like that. You just walk in and someone will talk to you. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, especially during the monsoon when everyone is honking their horns. We keep our files in these old metal cabinets that have seen better days. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to match people with whatever jobs are available at the moment. There isn't any big philosophy behind it. We just open up in the morning, check the new listings, and try to get through the stack of resumes before the day ends. The walls are painted a light cream color that’s started to peel a bit near the ceiling, but it doesn't bother us much as long as the internet is working and the phone is plugged in.
