Our office is located right on Dumdum Road at 1/B/8 here in Kolkata. Being Adecco Flexione Workforce Solutions, we deal with a lot of people looking for different kinds of work every single day. The road outside is always packed with cars and buses, so there’s a constant hum of engines in the background while we work. We spend most of our time going through applications and trying to manage the schedules for various workers. It’s a lot of coordination. You’ll see desks covered in folders and calendars with plenty of scribbles on them. It’s a practical place. We don’t have much in the way of decorations, just the essentials like desks, chairs, and a few printers that sometimes act up when we are in a hurry. The team here is small but we stay busy. People come in to drop off their papers or ask about when they might start a new job. We try to keep things organized, but in a busy city like this, there is always something unexpected happening. We take our breaks when we can find a quiet moment. It’s just a regular workplace where we focus on getting people into their roles without making a big fuss about it. The walk from the main city area to our spot is familiar to many who have worked with us over the years.
