Abner India Pvt. Ltd. is based right here in Kolkata. We don't have a complicated story; we just started working in the city and stayed here because it's home for most of us. The office is a regular space where we handle our business every day. It gets a bit humid in the summers, as anyone living in Kolkata knows, but we have some fans and just get through the day. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees. It's a smaller group of people who show up, do the work, and then head home to our families. We deal with whatever comes across our desks, from emails to paperwork and the occasional meeting that usually lasts longer than it should. The mood in the office is pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits unless there’s a really specific reason for it. Most days it’s just casual clothes and a lot of focus on the tasks at hand. We like being in Kolkata because of the food and the general vibe of the city. We’ve had some good times here and some stressful times when deadlines are tight, but that’s just how work goes. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just a local company doing what we do, keeping things simple and honest. It works for us and seems to work for the people we interact with. There are no big secrets here, just people putting in their time.
