Our office is over at 8 Moulavi Mujibur Rahman Sarani in Kolkata. It’s an old part of the city, and the street has a lot of character. We’ve been here for some time now, and the building feels like home to most of us. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, phones, and people talking. Consulting is a lot about communication, so there is always a bit of noise going on. We have the usual office stuff like a water cooler that sometimes leaks and stacks of papers that need filing. Kolkata has a certain way of doing things, and we fit right into that. The humidity can be tough in the summer, but the fans keep things moving. We usually grab lunch from the local vendors nearby because the food is better than what we could bring from home. It’s a busy place, and the address is easy enough for people to find once they know where to turn. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy furniture because we are mostly focused on the work we have to do for people. There are plenty of files around and everyone is usually busy on a call or typing something up. It is a practical space for a practical business. We see people coming in and out all day, and that's just the way it goes here at number 8. It gets a bit crowded sometimes, but we manage just fine. We just keep our heads down and work.
