Yuksom Breweries Ltd.

Our place is at 502, Commercial Point, right on Lenin Sarani. It’s an old part of the city, and our office has that kind of feel to it too. We spend our days managing the brewery stuff from here. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure the supplies get where they need to go. Lenin Sarani is always full of tram tracks and people, so there’s a lot of noise coming up from the street. We’ve got some old wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. Brewing is a tricky business, and even though we aren't at the vats every second, we’re still managing the whole process from this room. We check on the numbers and talk to the guys at the production site. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit there and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is being fussy, but we don't mind much. Most of the staff has been with Yuksom for a long time. We know how things work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the beer is good and the shops have what they need. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. But at the end of the day, it's decent work and we’re proud of what ends up in the bottles.
