A P Enterprise

We are right in the middle of the chaos at 28, Old China Bazar St,, China Bazar Street. If you’ve ever been to China Bazar Street, you know it’s a tight squeeze. There are carts, people carrying huge bundles, and motorbikes weaving through everything. Our place, A P Enterprise, is just one of many, but we’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the bricks. The shop is small and always feels a bit crowded because of all the stock we keep. We don’t have any air conditioning, so in the summer, we just keep the fans going at full speed. It doesn’t do much, but it’s better than nothing. We handle all sorts of merchandise. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and shifting things around to find what a customer wants. We don't have a computer system that tracks everything perfectly, so we rely a lot on memory and a few handwritten ledgers. Sometimes we lose a pen or a notebook, and everyone has to stop and look for it. It’s just how we operate. We know the chai wallah who comes by twice a day. His tea is the only thing that keeps us going during the busy season. We aren't a big corporation with polished floors. We’re just local people doing business in a very old part of town. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s home for us during the day. We wouldn’t know what to do with a quiet office.
