A R Trading

We’ve got our office for A R Trading at 22E, Lower Range, which is just off Circus Avenue. It’s a pretty central part of the city, so there’s always something going on outside. The building itself is older, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a few stories. We do trading, which basically means we spend our whole day on the phone or sitting at computers tracking where things are going. We deal with various goods depending on what’s in demand. It’s not a fancy setup with modern furniture; it’s mostly just desks piled with papers and some samples sitting in the corner. Sometimes the noise from Circus Avenue gets a bit loud, especially with all the honking, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't really have a lot of walk-in customers since most of our business is done through regular contacts we’ve known for years. Usually, it’s just the three or four of us here making sure the numbers add up and the deliveries are on time. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a shipment is late, we just tell people it’s late. There’s no point in making things sound better than they are. We just stay in our lane and keep the business moving. It’s a steady life and we’ve made this little corner of Lower Range work for us.
