Aluminium Industries (Assam) Pvt. Ltd.

We’ve been working out of this space at 23-A, N.S. Road for quite a while now. If you head up to the 4th floor and find Room 6A, that’s where you’ll see us mostly buried under paperwork or talking to suppliers about aluminium. It’s a busy part of town and the office gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around. People know us as Aluminium Industries (Assam) Pvt. Ltd., but to most folks here, we’re just the guys who deal with the metal shipments. Those stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like. Down here in the city, things move fast, but we try to keep our heads down and get the orders out. Growing the business with an Assam connection was how we started, though these days we’re mostly focused on the daily grind of managing the inventory and making sure the trucks are loaded right. Our setup isn't fancy by any means. We’ve got old desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. Usually, there’s a tea break around four, and that’s when we actually get a chance to breathe. Since the traffic on N.S. Road is always loud, you kind of get used to the honking while you’re trying to check the invoices. We just do our thing here every day, making sure the orders are processed and the paperwork is in order before the sun goes down.
