Ximps

Our office, Ximps, is tucked away in E2/3, Indrolok Estate over in Paikpara. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here. The estate is quite large and all the blocks look kind of similar. We mostly deal with import and export stuff, which means there’s always a lot of talk about shipping schedules and customs. It’s a small operation. We have a couple of rooms that are usually stacked high with boxes and documents. It can feel a bit crowded when we get a big shipment in. We spend a lot of time on our computers and the phone, trying to track where things are. Sometimes things get delayed at the port and that throws everything off. We don't have a big fancy sign outside. We just have our door and a lot of work to do. Paikpara is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always something going on outside. We’ve gotten to know the other people in the estate pretty well over the years. We help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something heavy. It’s a bit of a messy business, with all the logistics involved, but we’ve gotten used to the chaos. We just try to get the orders processed and out the door as fast as we can. It’s just us here, doing what we know how to do without any big corporate nonsense.
