Wai Agencies sits over at 40 E, Raja Santosh Road in Alipore. It’s a bit of a greener area than the city center, which makes the morning commute a little more bearable. We handle a variety of agency work, which basically means we spend our days being the middleman for a lot of different products. There’s always some paperwork that needs filing or a delivery that’s running late. I’ve been working here for quite a while, and the routine hasn't changed much. We have these old desks that have been here since before I started. The office is tucked away, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We don't really go out and shout about what we do. People who need us usually know where to find us. It’s a lot of sitting at the desk, making calls, and checking the inventory lists. Sometimes we get visitors, but mostly it's just the staff. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. Dealing with logistics is always a headache because something always goes wrong at the last minute. We just deal with it and move on to the next thing. It’s honest work and it fills the day. We aren't some big corporation with hundreds of employees. We're just a few people trying to run a decent agency and keep our clients happy without making too much of a fuss about it.
