Voltas Ltd

You can find the Kolkata branch of Voltas Ltd in the Monalisa Apartment, specifically in Flat No. A-5 on Baguiati Road. Being in an apartment building means we are right in the middle of everything. Baguiati is a really busy part of the city, and the traffic noise on the road is something we hear from morning until night. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, but we’re on the first floor so it’s not too bad. The office is basically a converted flat, so it has a kitchen and a small balcony where we keep some spare parts. It feels very different from a standard office block. We have the usual stuff—desks, filing cabinets, and a very old printer that we have to kick occasionally to make it work. Kolkata is famous for its rain, and when the storms come, we can hear it hammering on the window panes. It’s quite cozy inside when that happens. We mostly keep to ourselves, but we’re friendly with the other residents in the building. It’s a modest setup and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't. We’re just here to handle the business and make sure things are running smoothly. It’s a bit crowded with all our files, but we know where everything is. The tea seller down the street knows our order by heart now, which is a nice little touch to our days here.
