Our workshop and office are located at Plot No-24 on Road No-2 in the Indroloke area of Sodepur. Being in Kolkata, specifically in the 700110 area, we are surrounded by a lot of industrial activity. Indotherm Furnnaces is exactly what the name says; we work with industrial heating and furnace equipment. It is hot, heavy work and our space reflects that. It is not a shiny office building. It is a functional plot where we build and repair things. We have a small team of technicians who are not afraid to get their hands dirty. We do not really have time for polished presentations or corporate jargon. Most of our day is spent looking at metal, heat specs, and technical drawings. We have been in Sodepur for a good while, and we like the community of makers and workers here. It is a practical environment. Sometimes the machines are loud and the shop is crowded, but we know where everything is. We do not make big claims about being the best; we just show the results of our work. If you come by, you will probably find us in the middle of a project, probably covered in a bit of soot or grease. That is just the reality of making furnaces. We keep it simple and focus on the mechanics of the job. It is a tough business but we have found our rhythm here.
