Voltas Limited

We are based on the 4th floor of Gillander House, over in Block A. It’s an old, historic building on Netaji Subhas Road. The elevators are sometimes a bit slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. Being in this part of the city means we’re surrounded by a lot of old architecture and narrow streets. Our office isn't anything like those modern glass buildings you see in the news. It’s got high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. We spend our days mostly handling paperwork and taking calls. It gets pretty humid here, but we manage. The hallways in Gillander House have a certain smell to them, like old paper and dust. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we all know each other’s habits. We aren't big on flashiness. We just sit at our desks, do our work, and head home when the day is done. The view from the window isn't much, just other buildings and the busy street below. You can hear the horns honking all day long. It’s a very traditional workspace. We don't have a breakroom with a foosball table or anything like that. Just a kettle for tea and some chairs. It suits us just fine. It’s just the daily grind for us here at the office.
