Aps Hydraulics & Associates

If you walk down Princep Street, you’ll find us at P49. We’ve been operating under the name Aps Hydraulics & Associates for some time now. This area is always loud and crowded, but we like the energy of it. Most of our day is spent looking at hydraulic systems, seals, and pumps that have seen better days. It is greasy work, and our hands are rarely clean, but someone has to do it. We aren't the type to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned rooms. Most of the time, we’re hunched over a workbench trying to figure out why a valve isn't seating properly. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular place where work gets done. We have a few associates who help out when things get really busy, especially toward the end of the month. People bring us their broken equipment because they know we’ve seen just about every problem there is. We don't use a lot of fancy words to explain things. If it’s broken, we tell you. If it can’t be fixed, we’re honest about that too. Being on Princep Street means we get a lot of walk-ins and people who just heard about us from a friend. We value those connections because they keep the lights on. We aren't aiming for anything big, just keeping the machines running for the folks who rely on them.
