Vivek & Co.

Vivek & Co. is at 83, Old China Bazar Street. This is a very old part of the city, and the street is always crowded with shoppers and vendors. Our shop at number 83 is quite small, but we manage to fit a lot of stock inside. We have things stacked on shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. You really have to know where everything is, or you’ll get lost in the clutter. We sell a variety of goods and have a lot of regular customers who come to us. We’ve been at this same spot for many years. It’s a traditional way of doing business. We don't use computers for everything; we still have our paper receipts and a cash box. The noise from Old China Bazar Street is constant, but it’s a sound we’ve grown to love. It feels like the heart of the city. Vivek & Co. is a simple operation. We open early and stay until the last customer leaves. It’s a lot of standing and talking to people all day. We don't have air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that spin all day long. Sometimes it gets really hot, but we just drink some cold water and keep going. We are just a local business trying to serve the people who walk through our door and help them find what they need.
