Being in Barabazar Market means you are always in a rush even when you aren't trying to be. We are over at Sethia House on the 3rd Floor, which is 23/24 Radha Bazar Street. It is a long walk up if you aren't used to it, especially when it’s humid. We’ve been running Vegan Fashion Pvt. Ltd. from this spot and it gets pretty cramped sometimes. There are boxes stacked in the corners and the light isn't always the best, but we like the energy of the market. Downstairs, the streets are always full of people and rickshaws, so it’s actually a bit quieter up here on the third floor. We spend our hours looking at samples and keeping track of what’s going out. It’s just a regular group of us working here. We don’t have some big corporate philosophy; we just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up a bit or just sit and talk. Barabazar has a history that you can feel in the old walls of Sethia House. We are just one small part of that. Radha Bazar Street is always loud, but once you step inside our door, it feels like we can actually focus on what’s in front of us. It’s a practical way to run things. We are just doing what we know how to do.
