Bibi Of Taajas

Our place is over at 32/11, Gariahat Road South. We are right across from Jodhpur Park, which is a nice landmark to have. If you find the UBI Dhakuria branch, we are very close to that too. Bibi Of Taajas is a name some people find a bit unusual, but it’s just who we are. The shop is small and sometimes gets a bit stuffed with items, but we manage. Dhakuria is a busy part of town, especially during the commute hours. We see a lot of people rushing by on the sidewalk while we sit inside. The air conditioner in here is a bit old and makes a humming sound that we don't even notice anymore. We don't have a big team or anything corporate going on. It’s just a few of us making sure things run right. We keep our hours pretty steady. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost because the numbering on Gariahat Road can be confusing, so we usually have to stand out front and wave them down. The interior hasn't changed much since we moved in. We have some old wooden shelves that have held up well over the years. It’s a comfortable spot to work. People stop in because they saw the sign while walking to the park. We don't push anyone to buy anything; we just let them look around. It’s a relaxed atmosphere here.
