Vaijayanti Garments

Our place, Vaijayanti Garments, is situated at No. 18/3 Kalikapur Road, right near the EM Bypass. If you are coming this way, we are in the Haltu area, almost directly opposite the Metro Cash & Carry. It is a very busy stretch of road, especially during the rush hours when everyone is trying to get onto the bypass. We see thousands of cars go by every single day from our front door. The shop itself is a straightforward space where we handle all our garment work. We don't have any big signs or flashy displays, just the name on the door and the stock inside. The noise from the traffic is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few months of working here. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but customers still find their way to us because the location is so well-known. We spend most of our time at the back where it’s a bit cooler, away from the direct sunlight. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking tags, but we prefer being active. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot with the new buildings going up, but we just stay focused on our own daily tasks. It’s a decent spot to be in, and we’ve made a lot of friends among the other local shopkeepers nearby. We don't do anything special, just keep the shop open and handle the daily garments.
