Vac International

Our office is located at 23-A, N.S. Road, tucked away in Room No. 8 on the second floor. N.S. Road is always packed with people and vehicles, so just getting to the front door can be a bit of a struggle in the mornings. Vac International is a small team and we have been working from this same spot for a good number of years. The office is pretty cramped because we have so many records and folders piled up. We do a lot of back-and-forth communication with different suppliers and customers. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes it feels like we are just chasing people for answers all day. The building itself is quite old, so it has its quirks, like the lights flickering or the door sticking when it rains. We don't have any big corporate signs or anything like that. It’s just a name on the door and us inside working. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background to drown out some of the street noise. Dealing with international business means we sometimes have to stay late to catch people in different time zones. It’s just part of the routine. We don't try to make it seem like more than it is. We are just a local office trying to keep our commitments and stay organized in the middle of a very busy part of the city. We have a small fridge for our lunches in the corner.
